Carolyn has worked in the disability field working with young people and adults for over 20 years.  Fifteen of these years has been at The Mount Cargill Trust.  Prior to this Carolyn completed a Bachelor in Art History and Education along with a Diploma in Education.

Carolyn is the Residential Coordinator for the service and is responsible for the day to day staffing and running of the homes along with the medical and health needs of the individuals living within the Trust.

Supporting family relationships is an important part of Carolyn’s role and making sure families remain actively involved in a person’s life whenever possible and that families feel welcome within the residential homes.

Carolyn is passionate that the young people and adults living with our service have the opportunities to be listened to and are supported by planning that is both positive and relevant to the individual.  Supporting the young people to grow as individuals, promoting their quality of life and fostering their own voice for decisions, provides Carolyn with great job satisfaction.
